Extra Power Points

One more double power point in the right spot beats a tangle of power boards and extension leads. I add double GPOs (power points) inside and out, including outlets with built in USB-C charging for the kitchen, the bedrooms and the study.

Kitchen and Bathroom Renovations

A renovation is the right time to get the wiring right. Electric ovens and induction cooktops usually need their own dedicated circuit, often larger than the one an older stove was on, and the switchboard needs room for it. I work with your builder and the other trades on site so the electrical work happens in the right order.

In the bathroom, that includes exhaust fans and lighting suited to a wet area.

Checked and Certified

New circuits are protected by a safety switch, tested, and covered by a Certificate of Compliance. If your switchboard has no room or no safety switch protection, I will tell you up front, because that changes the job.

Common Questions

The Things People Ask Me

Can you add a power point outside?

Yes. Outdoor power points are weatherproof, protected by a safety switch, and placed where you will use them, whether that is for the barbecue, the garden or a pool pump.

Do I need a new circuit for an induction cooktop?

Usually, yes. Most induction cooktops draw more than an older electric stove and need their own dedicated circuit. Tell me the model and I will check what it needs.
